The changes detailed below required us to “start from scratch” with a whole new website, so all previous listings prior to May 31, 2008 will need to be re-created at the new OK4Free.com as of June 1, 2008. Although there may be some inconveniences to the regular customers who post free ads to re-create accounts and re-create listings, the new features of OK4Free.com make creating a new account and listings well worth it.

Here are some of the advantages of the new OK4Free.com:

1. All parties wishing to list products for sale at www.OK4Free.com will now be required to confirm accounts using am email confirmation process. This will help control and hopefully eliminate bogus listings and scams. Once you sign up for a new OK4Free.com account, you will be required to have an email address and to confirm your new OK4Free.com account with that email address before any listings can be made.

2. You will now be able to have email and cellphone text message alerts sent to you so you can be notified of new OK4Free.com listings in the product categories you care about.

3. In addition to listing alerts, you’ll now be able to add up to 30 photos to each listing! Although you don’t have to use any photos in your OK4Free.com listing, we encourage you do really give your potential customers a view of your product or service with the free photos you have available on your listing. It’s quick and easy – so why not use it?
